Talon Outdoors, LLC

My name is Tim Keller.  In late 2008 I realized how selfish I had become as an individual and hunter.  I had taken for granted the blessings I was enjoying from God without acknowledging Him as the ultimate provider.

About this same time, God placed people in my life that either desired to get back in the outdoors but couldn't or volunteers that wanted to share their talents and time in the outdoors also.

From that realization and a new passion and desire to "Bless others less fortunate", God breathed and Talon Outdoors was formed.

Talon Outdoors is an all volunteer organization committed to providing Outdoor Hunting & Fishing activities for those less fortunate.  Less Fortunate can mean different things to different people. Our goal is create opportunities for those individuals who have the desire to live life fully, without hesitation.  The majority of Talon participants are handicap or disabled individuals and veterans.

Can you remember?

Do you remember your 1st November morning in a deer stand?  Do you remember that feeling as you waited 2 hours for the sun to rise just so you could see what was making the leaves crunch under your stand?

Or how about…. that 1st time you heard an Owl hoot in the distance, followed by the thunderous gobble of a Spring Tom not a 100 yards away, and this time it was real, not on TV.

Or what about….sitting completely still on an old half submerged log, gun in hand with eyes looking skyward thru the tree line with your best friend Duke by your side, both waiting to hear the faint whistle of wood ducks as they approach.

Or even….watching your 1st quail covey rise and fly quickly away while you try to decide which one to shoot, at the same time remembering not to shoot “Lucky”, the very expensive guide dog.

Now...can you imagine sharing that same feeling with others less fortunate?
